My 11 year old daughter has split the 5th metacarpal in both feet. What is the usual treatment for this?

Dear Louretta
what happened, was this caused by an injury? Treatment would depend on how bad it is, if just a crack, she may be treated by plaster of Paris or bandaging, if an uneven or unstable break they would treat with operation and fixation by screws or plates.
