Child urinating frequently

My 5 year old boy urinates every 20 - 30 mins in small quantities. He obviously feels the need to go but the bladder is not full. Any underlying cause? Thanks

Hallo Dad
He may have an irritable bladder - please take him to your doctor for a possible referral to an urologist? There are medications that may help and urine tract infection needs to be excluded

Take him to a doctor. He might have a bladder infection. The doc will make him hand in a urine sample and send it to the lab who will do extensive tests on the sample. If they culture the results that means he has a bladder infection and will need antibiotics to treat it.
