Child Bed Wetting

I have a boy who turns 4 in August. He has been sleeping dry for months and now suddenly wets the bed frequently. His daily toilet use is perfect. What can we do?

Dear Celeste
Bedwetting is often a sign of underlying anxiety, don't make a big issue over this as many kids under 6 still have bedwetting episodes. Have his urine tested to exclude infection and diabetes, and ask his teacher at the preschool if someone is bullying him of if there is something that could cause him stress. Don't let him drink too just before he goes to bed, and if you wake up in the night, take him to the toilet. Try to motivate him with stickers or rewards for dry nights.
