Check up after quitting cigs

Should I go for chest xrays and so on once I' ve quit smoking? Part of the reason for quitting was a more often than not sore throat, occassional sharp pains in the ear and what felt like a need to take a really deep breath to fill my lungs properly. Am feeling much better after 14 days with no cigarettes. Throat fine, but sharp pain to ears still every now and then. Need for really deep breath less often and coughing all gone.
