Change in Length of Menstual Cycle

My cycle was always around four week in length.

My last two cycles, however, have both been of 6½  weeks duration, i.e. they both arrived more than 2 weeks late.

Does this mean I am in the peri-menopause? I am 43 years old.

You may well be perimenopausal.
