Cervical Polyps

Hi there last year in Feb my gynae told me that I would have to have an operation in theatre to remove cervical polyps on my cervix. After all this time i really need to do it as it has got alot worse and the bleeding is hectic. How long is an operation like this and is an incision made or is it done through the vagina? Are there any complications with this operation?

The operation is done vaginally and should take less than half an hour. There are very few complications.
