Cervic Cancer Cells removal vs menstruation/pregnacy

My operation to remove cancer cells is next week, I am taking Yaz and I was expecting my period from Monday, so far nothing is coming, today I have taken my last white tablet. My periods have been coming normally until this month and I am just thinking that what if I am pregnant, will that not complicate my op on Monday? Secondly what if I start menstruating prior to my op, will it not complicate my op again if I am menstruating?

The operation can be done even if you are menstruating. That is not a problem. If your period has not started by Monday, your doctor can check a pregnancy test before proceeding.
