Celestamine

Hi Doc,

What are your thoughts on using Celestamine on a 1.9 year old? My son was diagnosed with an Upper Airway Infection and prescribed 1ml of Biosolvin and 1ml of Celestamine 3 times a day.

I am concerned as I have read that it is a cortisone and antihistamine and can stump the growth of children and is very strong.

Thank you.

If the Celestamine syrup is only given for a 5 day period and then stopped, it will have no effect on the growth of your child.
