Over the last few months my weight has generally been stable, ok so its not as low as I would like, but it hasnt kept going up! Due to various things, I have missed so many of my Walk for Life classes at the moment, so my exercise probably isnt as great as what it has been either. What I have been noticing more and more the last few weeks is my pants are literally falling off - they are soo loose! Ok so one generally doesnt complain about losing unwanted kilos, but I am a bit concerned/puzzled what with not doing my regular walking at the moment and not doing any particular dieting etc. - so I weighed myself yest and my weight has come down 8kgs! - its the first time I have EVER been this weight since about 1995! Also the last week or two on and off I have really not had much appetite - its not as if im not eating at all, just that I have lost my appetite like I have had. Should I worry. I never lose weight in such large amounts easily - the most noticeable thing being my clothes, my pants especially! Do I need to be worried?! Kidney, thyroiid, i.e.?!

Thanks again

Dear Anxious
If one loses a lot of weight in a short period without dieting - although this may be welcomed - you should let your doctor check especially for diabetes, thyroid problems or lung problems.
