Cats Breath

Hi Doc...
I have a Burmese, nearly 3 years old, and the other day she was lying next to and I could not figure out what the heck i was smelling, turns out it was her breath, it is HORRID!
We are going to the vet tomorrow...could it be what she eats or maybe a tooth?
Also she drinks about a litre of water a day, FROM THE TAP i might add! She goes ballistic when i walk into the bathroom and i don' t turn the tap on for her...
Please advise.
Thanks
Andrea

Could be a tooth.

Could be an infection of some sort.

Could be a stomach thing.

Could be she had just eaten something disgusting.

The vet will find out.
