Dear Anon

For cat flu no home remedies will work, only aggressive supportive therapy, drip, antibiotics etc.

Take to your local SPCA or PDSA as soon as possible. They either charge a nominal amount (according to your income) or nothing at all.

All else failing can you not ask your vet to pay in instalments?
Hope everything will be OK. Let us know. Good luck.
