Cardiomyopathy

Please help. My dad was recently diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. The doctors have told him that there is nothing they can do for him. Is their a treatment out there that can be used to treat his condition.

Hallo Macy
Cardiomyopathy is weakness of the heart muscle. This can happen due to previous injury or inflammation of the heart muscle but in some patients it happens without a reason ( ideopatic cardiomyopathy). It is usually irreversible and the treatment is supportive, same as for heart failure.
