Carbohydrates

Hi Doc
i fast on Wednesdays and Fridays (milk, cheese, eggs, meat, fish anything that contains animal) and i would like to find out what healthy meals i could make, as i always make pasta or have bread with jam etc and i want to move away from the carbs and the junk as i cannot stomach them and i bloat up.
is there anything you can suggest for breakfast, lunch and supper?
Thank-You

Dear Eve
If you cut out all milk, cheese, eggs, meat and fish plus all carbohydrates then all that is left to eat are fruit, vegetables, nuts and legumes (dry cooked or canned beans, peas, lentils or soya). However with your tendency to develop bloating legumes may also cause winds, so you would have to experiment to see if you can tolerate them. Having just fruit, vegetables and nuts for 2 days a week should not affect your nutrient intake (e.g. protein, etc), so have fresh fruit for breakfast, and cooked vegetables and salads for your other meals. Nibble some nuts when you feel hungry if you don't react to nuts with bloating.
Best regards
