candida infection &  amniotic fluid leakage

My daughter (27)is 13 wks pregnant with her first baby. She has had more than 1 incidence of candida infection. After using an ovulet this morning she detected a leakage of fluid (about half a palm size)- definitely not urine. Can candida cause the amniotic sac to become thinner and leak? I suppose it is cause for concern?

Candida will not cause the waters to break. It may not be this though. It could be a watery discharge, but she needs to have it checked.

Best wishes
