candida in pregnancy

Hi im 13 weeks pregnant and having problems with candida infections, My gynae was reluctant to reccommend any treatment due to the pregnancy(as she feels the less drugs used in preg. the better) and finally gave me a pescription for Clorscript cream, which i used consecutively for 6 nights. The infection cleared up for a few weeks and is now back and worse. What is safe to use during pregnancy.

The vaginal gels and pessaries are safe but you would need a prescription for them.
