how long does it take for cervical cancer to progress from stage to stage  with and without treatment?

Without treatment it takes many years to progress. From the first signs of atypical cells, it can take more than 5 years to become cancerous. This is why regular pap smars are useful as early cell changes can be treated before they become cancerous.
