Can Helicobactor Pylori cause infertility

Hi Doc

Just a quick question ... my GP thinks I could have H Pylori (still have to test but I have alot of the symptoms). I have read that it can be the caused of unexplained infertility. Could this be possible? I have been TTC for over 4 years with no success.

Prompt response would be appreciated.

Dear curious
To my knowledge there is no direct evidence for the cause and effect of helicobactor and infertility.to my knowledge the Helicobactor mainly affects the upper GIT and not the upper gastrointestinal tract and not the genital tract per say.
