By-pass

I am 54 years old. Had a by-pass op in 2001. I take a disprin CV100 every day. Can I take calcium tablets? Will it block my arteries?

You can take Calcium but you should take low doses - not more than 500 mg per day if you take in 4 or more portions of diary products per day.
High calcium intake can increase your risk for a heart attack.
