Burns

I have just heard that putting condensed milk on a burn is a good thing. Surely that exacerbates the burn?

Yes Andrea, I agree with you. One should only rinse a burn with cool water, and then cover it with Burnshield or medication for burns like Silver sulphadiazine ointment. No butter, condensed milk, or any other stuff should be used! It just causes infection and is difficult and painful to remove from a burn in order to clean and treat it properly.
