burning legs

dear doc,

my mom is 78 years old. she complains about her legs burning. what is the cause and what can we do to relieve it? my dad was 80 and aslo had the same thing.

This can be due to reduced blood flow in the legs or due to peripheral neuropathy ( complication of diabetes or vit B shortage) Let your doctor have a look and prescribe suitable treatment.
