Bumping yourself during pregnancy

Dear Gynaedoc
I found out yesterday that I am pregnant as I my period was three days late. I tested myself at home. I remembered though that I bumped myself against the wall of our house while carrying an empty cooler box last week. I think my hip bone took the most impact and afterwards it was tender but not really bruised. Would it have any negative effects on my pregnancy?

It won' t have any affect. Your little one is protected in a sack of fluid.
