Buchu tea

How much Buchu tea is safe to consume on a daily basis? I''ve read that you cannot have to much of it. Why is that and is it really that effective (healthwise) when consumed in the proper amount?
Thanks

Dear SM
Buch tea is usually used to treat kidney and bladder complaints and PMS. When taken in large amounts it could cause so-called electrolyte imbalances (losses of essential minerals such as potassium and sodium due to excessive urination) and dehydration. Never exceed the dosage of any product and if the product carries a warning, then think carefully before you use it. It may be a good idea to have a medical examination if you suffer from kidney problems.
