My sister''s baby is 5 months old and has been in and out of hospital. Today, I read on one of the reports that she has Bronchiolitis obliterans

What does this mean? Is there a chance of her dying?

Hallo Anon
It is a kind of pneumonia where scar tissue causes blockage of the lung's small airways. The diagnosis is usually made with a lungbiopsy. It can be dangerous as it is ireversible. Is the baby being treated by a specialist pediatrician?
