Hallo A.T
This is often infection of the sweat glands in the armpits, caused by a germ that normally lives on our skin (Staph aureus). You can treat early infection with Bactroban cream on the area. If this does not help your doctor could put you on a low dose oral antibiotic for 3 months. Wash with antiseptic soap (Hibiscrub works well)
