BLUE DISCOLORATION

My mom (53 years old) is experiencing a blue / black discolouration on the sides of her face - close to her ears. it will appear and dissapear in an hour or two. She suffers from high blood pressure and cholestorol. Is this something she should have checked out?

Yes I think you need to take her to a doctor - this may be a sign of severe impairment of blood circulation in the area
