Blowing things out of proportion....

HI,

I am hoping you can assist me. Although I have gone through many changes in the last couple of months things have actually changed for the better and I truly don''t have much to complain about - hence the catch - I am now experiencing severe stress. On a scale of 1 - 10 I am hovering almost constantly on a 8 - 10. My chest feels like an elephant has taken residence on it, difficult to breathe. I am constantly on Flight Mode. I started a new job, moved to another town, have been living outside of my current workplace by having to travel an hour to work and an hour back and I am looking for a new place to stay in town as my husband after 2 hours finally got a position. We are trying for a baby (over 2 years - borderline infertility). I am happy in our new town, love my job and like I said, generally have nothing to complain about. But what happens if I make a mistake in my job I feel like its the end of the world. Something as " silly"  as sending a fax without its attachment will bother me for days. I struggle to go to sleep it bothers me that much. My chest feels like its going to explode and I get so damn emotional which certainly does nothing to help me in my job. I am a people pleaser and feel very very disappointed in myself should I not live up to the expectations I set upon myself. My sister lost her husband of 13 years together with their home and income and she has 3 small children - now she has reason to be stressed and complain. But I get sick to my stomach having not been in a financial position to help them. Its things like that that is making me feel like I am losing control. My husband tries to comfort and calm me down but I know it is " unreasonable"  and I need to find a way to calm myself down, and that some things are beyond my control, not get as stressed over the little things and accept that I will make mistakes and not go into panic zone everytime ! I try concentrating on my breathing, taking a nice long bath, listening to music, but as soon as I start " thinking"  it all starts all over again. Any advice will be helpful.
Thank you.
