Blood Pressure

What could the explanation be for the following diverse blood pressure readings taken for my 87 year old Mom in the past week?

140/80 taken by GP 1 week ago
160/60 taken by physio 5 days ago
199/77 taken by a specialist yesterday
134/63 taken by nurse this morning
153/55 taken at pharmacy this afternoon

Should one trust any one of these readings???!! And where can we go to be SURE that the reading is correct?

She is taking blood pressure lowering medication.

Thank you.

You can consult an internal specialist and request a 24 hour blood pressure (holter monitor) monitor test. This will give an accurate 24 hour blood pressure reading that will display her average blood pressure. According to that reading, your mother's blood pressure can be treated adequately.

Ensure that your mother is well hydrated. She will have to drink two to two and a half litres of water per day and will have to supplement with micro elements.
