blood pressure

when is blood pressure high,what are the causes and what can be done to lower it. i train 6 days a week, try and avoid fatty foods, like chocolates and have a drink now and then. 59 old

What risk, if any, stopping Ramipril 2.5 mg with Simvastatin 40 mg at one go after one-year? I now have normal readings and have semi-retired / a transformed more active lifestyle and sensible diet.
