Blood in Puppy Poop

We adopted a deaf 9 week old puppy on Sunday and have since noticed that he is straining to poop. Its not hard poop that comes out and he still manages several poo' s a day, 3 (since Sunday) have contained a little blood.

When he starts pooping he strains and sometime it shoots out . He walks forward a bit, then tries again, and then again. The consistancy looks normal.

We are feeding him Ultra Dog for Puppies and he has also been scratching quite a bit (he has no fleas). He has a bed in the lounge and last night he wee' d in it. What do you make of this?

Dear Shell

Worm him again and give him pro-kolin 3 times daily for 7 days. Use frontline on him even if you cant see any fleas.
