Our expert says:
It could be several things depending on where the bleeding is coming from. Possibilities include abnormal cells on the cervix (possibly precancerous), growth or polyp in the genital tract/cervix, infection, or minor abrasions following traumatic thrusting (lessl likely as you would have felt the pain). Definately important to have this checked out to make sure that if this is a sign of changes to the cervix, you can catch it quickly.
