If you are passing hard stools, you are constipated. The difficulty in passing stools, will cause rectal bleeding. I suggest that you use Laxette syrup in combination with Softlax tablets for at least a period of two weeks. This is available over the counter at pharmacies. You can also add more fibre to your diet. The goal is to soften your stools, in order to prevent rectal injury. If your symptoms do not improve, you will have to consult your doctor for an examination.
