Bleeding should not happen with penetration - ever- so you are correct to feel concerned. If you are peri menopausal or menopausal perhaps your vagina is simply letting you know that you need vaginal estrogen to replenish what is lost. Best to call your gynaecologist and request sex hormone blood tests done so you can get a measurement of your hormones . in this way you will knwo if you need replenishing or not. An if your hormones are all in order, your gynaecologist must investigate this bleeding further.
