bleeding

This morning while rinsing my mouth I notice some blood which seems to come from my throat. Upon further inspection my throat seems a bit red. It doesn' t feel sore or anything. Should I be concerned?

Hi Desiree
Unless you have a sore throat or bleeding nose I don't think you need to worry. The blood may have come from bleeding gums after brushing your teeth?

Hi Doc
Gosh I feel a bit relieved. On closer inspection (after removing my top dentures which is new) some ' food particle'  must have come under the plate &  caused a cut at the back in my palate.

Hi Doc

No, it' s not from bleeding gums because I immediately checked my mouth. A rinsed my mouth 4 or 5 times just to check and it definately came from my throat.
