Bladder / period problem

I seem to be quite prone to bladder/kidney infections, and have noticed that I have these infections just before and then after my period. Could sanitary towels and tampons cause or aggravate this at all? I' m note sure what to do as this is becomming a monthly problem.

It is possible that tampons may aggravate the problem. You should see a doctor and have a sample sent to the laboratory to see what type of infections these are.
