Blacklisted

My cousin brother was working at the bank and he stole/took money and he was dismissed. Now the bank has blacklisted him. Does that mean he won''t be able to work for any financial institution? Is there anything that can be done? Help

re: blacklisted

The blacklisting does normally mean that you won't be able to work in a financial institution. You can ask them to de-list you. It is suggested that you contact the banking ombudsman.

Nobody wants to hire someone who steals from them. He is going to struggle to find work in any job anywhere, not just at a bank.

Anna

The bank''s have their own list - he will not be able to apply at a financial institution as it will come up that he was dismissed for taking money.
Nothing can be done.

There isn''t actually such a thing as " black listing" , its a term used to refer to someone who''s credit record is not in good standing. Its still up to the person who wants to loan him money whether they are willing to take the risk or not, and they lessen their risk by increasing the interest payments or by saying its too risky and not granting the loan.

He is going to find it difficult to find work anywhere because he has been dismissed for dishonesty. Nobody wants a dishonest employee.
