Dear A
Blackheads are blocked oil ducts, the oil reacts with oxygen in the air causing the black spots. You could try using an antiseptic soap and Oxy 10/Differin gel on the area, and if he also gets infected spots,he may need to use low dose oral or topical antibiotic. Beauty therapists can remove the blackheads safely and without harming the skin if he will be willing to allow it!
