Hallo Alison
A blackhead is a blocked enlarged pore, and it won't go away, as soon as you remove the sebum (skin oil) that causes the black spot, it will fill again. Try cleaning the skin regularly with an antiseptic facial wash and use oxy 10 to reduce sebum forming. See also http://dermatology.about.com/cs/acnecomedones/a/comedones.htm
