Black spots on gums.

I have recently noticed my border collie got two black spots on her gums which wasn' t there previously. SHe has one spot above each of her top canine teeth.
The first time I noticed it, was just after she was poisoned. Luckily our vet pulled her through and she was back to her crazy border collie self within two days.
The spots are not swollen or anything.
Do you think I need to take her to the vet to check it out??

Dear Anon

Best to take her for a quick exam.
