Black out

The past week end when my girl friend woke up and stood up, she had a black out (fainted). What can be the issue, is it a low blood pressure?

When you sleep, the blood pressure control becomes adjusted for lying down. If you then stand up, the blood pools in the feet, and you may pass out. She should just stand up more slowly.
