Bit my tongue

Hi Doc

I bit my toungue on the side, underneath the other day quite badly by accident. It''s really sore and uncomfortable. Is there anything I can purchase at the chemist to soothe the pain a bit. Salt water and mouthwash is not helping.

Hallo Ouch
That must be very sore! Try Kenalog in Orobase ointment - you can put it quite thick on the raw area, and repeat during the day after eating/drinking.
