My 18 jr dogter het Bilharzia in 1997 gekry. Is behandel en nie weer bloed getrek nie. In 2012 het sy erg moeg en siek geword, bloed getrek en weer positief. Nou al 4 keer behandeling - 4 mnde uit mekaar gehad. Is dit korrek. Moet die behandeling nie dalk nader aan mekaar wees nie. Sy wee 45 kg en kry 1800mg in 2 verdeelde dosisse. Ek is raadop.

Was your daughter possibly re-infected after the first time? Repeat treatments are sometimes required; the Centers for Disease Control mentions that this usually is done 2-4 weeks after the first drug treatment. Also that follow-up should be done 1-2 months after treatment.
