When is the best time to take protein supplements relative to workouts?

Hi Rainer

During training consume about 0.2% protein per kilogram of body weight and do the same immediately after training to refuel. Within 45 minutes of completing your training you can take a regular meal replacement shake with about 40g protein and 12-20g carbs. Pure whey is best taken just before bedtime and if you need to increase your overall protein intake then you can add it to your breakfast.
