BACK PAIN -SCOLIOSIS

I have had severe back pain as far as I can remember, I' m 29 now.
I went for x-rays in January (not for the back pain though)
It revealed that I had slight scoliosis of the spine.
I was just wondering if this is the reason for the pain.
and what can I do to get some more permanent relief

Dear Lindy
Scoliosis can cause backache but yours is probably from muscle spasm, it could be caused by posture problems. Please see a physiotherapist for treatment and also to teach you some back muscle strenghtening exercises.
