Asthma

Hi Doc
They say dust mites is one of the courses of asthma, so does that mean that people who have asthma should avoid dust, even the one that comes out when cleaning the house on a day to day basis?

Dear Amo

Thank you for visiting health24.com.

In a perfect world, it will good for an asthmatic person to avoid the dust produced on a day to day basis. We can only lessen the exposure to dust by trying to avoid the house at times of cleaning, have tiles instead of carpets and to have the bedding washed every three days etc.

Kind regards
