Asprin during pregnancy

I had an IUD in February this year due to pre-eclampsia, im now 4weeks pregnant and my obgyn has put me on ecotrin 81mg, ive read that asprin is not good in the 1st trimester, do you think its a good idea for me to take asprin now to reduce the chances of getting PET again.

Yes, it is a good idea. Low dose aspirin helps prevent PET.
