Arthritis

Hi

My dog roxy(9 years old) has been taking the following medication for her arthritis(back leg):
1) Rimadyl: Half tablet in the morning and at night - daily
2) Fortiflex: every second month(daily)

Please advise:
1) If these are the best meds?
2) Side-effects and possible options to control these side effects?
3) Any other helpful information

Please assist as I' m very concerned that Roxi' s kidneys/livers could be damaged as this is what I' ve heard...

kind regards

Dear Rishen

1. The meds are very good but you can try a course of Tavan SP as well.

2 & 3. Ask your vet of an info leaflet, lots of info.
