antibiotic allergy

I am allergic to the Penicillins & Cephalosporins( break out in large area skin blotches all over body)
What group of antibiotics can I take - any trade names?

Antibiotic prescription will depend on the type of infection that has to be treated. A safe alternative, when indicated, will be the group of antibiotics, called microlides, like for instance, erythromycin. Always inform your medical practitioner about your allergies.
