anti depressant types

Hi

Is it possible for 2 different antidepressants to have completely different effects if they are from the same class ie ssri' s etc

Not likely. We vary in exactly how any individual drug affects us, as our brain micro-chemistry varies, but while one SNRI or SSRI might suit you better than another, and thus one might be more useful than another, they wouldn't have totally different efects.
