Amount of dairy

I Doc,

what is the daily amount of dairy that a woman of 38 should have? i only have 1 fat free yoghurt and the milk that i have in coffee (twice a day).

Because milk and dairy products are the best sources of highly available and absorbable calcium in the diet and adults require 1200 mg of calcium per day, the general recommendation is that adults should have 3 servings of dairy per day. A serving of milk or yoghurt is 1 cup (250 ml which provides 250 mg of calcium or more). A serving of cottage cheese is usually half a cup and of other cheeses it is 30 g.
