AMH test

I would like to find out if the AMH test(anti –  mullerian hormone ) is the same thing as an ovarian reserve test.

Dear Nomsa

The AMH test is one of the tests in determining an ovarian reserve. This means that it is part of a number of tests and not the only test for ovarian reserve. The other common test to check for ovarian reserve is a day-2 FSH and antral-follicle count on ultrasound.
